Scientific and research activities
Long-term research objectives of the department are defined:
1) Acute renal failure – prevention and use of cleaning methods;
2) Endocrinology of critical conditions, metabolism and the role of adipose tissue in the critically ill;
3) Influencing pulmonary hypertension and right heart failure after cardiosurgical procedures and the use of long-term and short-term mechanical support systems of the heart action.
