Education

Employees of the Clinical and Transplant Pathology Centre are involved in pre-graduate teaching (teaching of medical students of Charles University, laboratory technique students from Austria – Leonardo da Vinci training course).

In post-graduate interdisciplinary programmes, they provide additional training in the morphology of renal and liver diseases for the disciplines of nephrology, hepatology and pathology.

Employees of the centre run practical specialisation educational training programmes in the diagnosis of renal and liver diseases (native and transplanted) and immunohistochemistry courses.

Doctors of the centre participate in interdisciplinary seminars focused on the transplant pathology of kidneys and liver and diseases of native kidneys every week.

On 14 Dec 2010, our centre was awarded accreditation for implementation of the practical part of the specialised educational programme in “Histology” for medical laboratory technicians.
