The provided care is controlled in the scope of the quality management system pursuant to ISO 9001:2000. The department was awarded the quality system certificate in 2005.
These certificates confirm validity for the following scope of activities and services:
- Provision of comprehensive resuscitation care
- Provision of non-stop emergency service for life-threatening conditions and anaesthesia for the patients of the Transplantation and Diabetology Centres
- Provision of outpatient services for patients related to the treatment of chronic pain
- Teaching activities within the framework of the Subdepartment of Cardiovascular and Transplantation Anaesthesiology and Intensive Medicine at the Institute for Further Education of Doctors and Pharmacists
The department has the following accreditations:
Accreditation of the Czech Medical Chamber for training in the lifelong learning system for doctors;
Accreditation of the Ministry of Health for speciality training in: Anaesthesiology and resuscitation;
Accreditation of the Ministry of Health for speciality training in: Intensive medicine;
Accreditation of the CzMA (Czech Medical Association of J. E. Purkyně) Society for the Study and Treatment of Pain (DARIC outpatient office for pain).
